FeatherEdge wind turbine add-on glides forward in Europe

Biome Renewables announces a strategic partnership with cutting edge European wind turbine service provider Gridlink AB.

Two innovative wind power partners have entered into a partnership that is set to reduce the noise made by wind turbines across the Nordic region and Germany.

Canadian wind power technology company Biome Renewables has announced it has inked a Master Service Agreement with Gridlink AB, a specialized wind power service provider headquartered in the windy Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland.

Each company is known to relish challenging opportunities to improve wind power outputs. Together, the partners will bring their cutting-edge expertise and talent for innovative solutions to install Biome's FeatherEdge® wind turbine blade serration technology on turbines across the region.

Both companies completed a successful project, together with Schierloh Engineering GmbH, at their Hämelhausen wind farm on an Enercon E160 EP5 E3. This project has acted as a springboard, and installation works are now on-going at Süstedt wind farm, also with Schierloh Engineering GmbH.
